GREETINGS FROM THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL COUNSELOR
Hello! My name is Lori Tremayne, and I am the elementary school counselor. I am the daughter of Roger and Kathy (Gill) Mast, both graduates of Winnebago High School (1962 and 1967). I have been married to my husband, Randy, for 26 years. We have 2 sons who are both married. Our oldest son is a Dodge County Deputy and our youngest is a Math teacher. On August 13, we welcomed our first grandchild, a sweet baby girl. I graduated from Homer Community School in 1989. In 1993, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Wayne State College. In 2005, I earned a Master’s Degree in K-8 School Counseling. In 2015, I completed an endorsement in 9-12 School Counseling. Finally, in 2017, I completed an endorsement in PreK-12 School Administration, all from Wayne State College.
My interests outside of school include scrapbooking, camping, baking/cooking, gardening and canning. I am so fortunate to have had a mom and grandma who gardened and canned and taught me so many different things. I have been an educator for 30 years. This is my 25th year of
employment with Winnebago Public Schools. During my time here, I have been a 5th/6th grade teacher, a Jr. High Science teacher, an elementary school counselor, a high school counselor, and most recently, the 7-12 principal. Although I truly appreciate the opportunity I’ve had to work with students at all grade levels and in so many different capacities, I am extremely excited to return to working as an elementary school counselor again.
If you have concerns and would like me to work with your child, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I look forward to working with the students of Winnebago in this new capacity!
Respectfully,
Lori Tremayne
