Due to inclement weather, Winnebago Public school will be closed on Tuesday, 1/9/2024. All school activities will be postponed.

WPS gyms will be padlocked and no access to them December 23-27 due to the NSAA 5-day moratorium. Violation of this moratorium could risk student-athlete participation in winter activities. Please be mindful of this rule.
Gyms will open back up on December 28th for WPS HS winter sports to start practice.
Gyms will be closed for non-WPS sponsored activity practices starting December 21-January 4th due to holiday break for custodial staff.
After Santa’s wrestling match with the grinch today he was able to go around to meet with some WPS students. Due to being needed back at the North Pole he was only able to go to Kindergarten and 1st Grade classrooms. He did chat with 2nd-5th grade students during lunch. Happy Holidays from WPS!
