The Higher Education Department is taking the 8th graders to lunch at Pizza Ranch and a movie in Sioux City on Tuesday May 16th.
They will need to be at the school at 10:15am and will return around 2:30.
The Summer Youth Employment Program Job Fair will be held at Winnebago Public School on Tuesday, May 23rd starting at 9:00am – 12:00pm. Youth that applied for SYEP must attend.
The Winnebago Tribe Summer Youth Employment Program deadline is this Friday, May 19th. The online application is on the Winnebago Tribe website, under Education, click Advisory Board and then click SYEP for further information and instructions. The Higher Education office receives an email confirmation that a student has applied, we in turn will send out a letter to student and parent/guardian what is required before application is considered complete.
8th grade promotion today is at 2:30 in the game gym.

In respect for the family in mourning, the NCPA/Academy have decided to move the Academy Senior Recognition event to the day of graduation, May 14th.
NCPA/Academy students will receive their rewards and gifts at graduation. An area for picture taking and refreshments will be setup. More details to come.

Senior Breakfast will be at 9:30 AM on Friday, May 12th. Following we will do our first-ever senior walk through the halls. Please bring caps and gowns. The senior walk will be followed by a senior photo on the grand staircase. Then seniors will report to the practice gym to line up for graduation rehearsals. Please be on time. We have a busy morning. Thanks!

Grades 3rd-6th track and field has been postponed until Tuesday May 9th 1:00pm-3:00pm due to weather. If Tuesday is rainy field day will take place indoors in the PE gym May 9th
K-2 field day is still Friday May 12 at the track. If it is raining Field day will still take place on the 12th indoors.
If we cannot do water balloons on these days we will plan an alternative day.

Dear NCPA Family and Scholars,
In support of our Winnebago Community and families, the Nebraska College Preparatory Academy (NCPA) has decided to postpone tonight’s 2023 Senior Showcase and Scholar Recognition Reception. Please check your e-mails for information on the new date.
NCPA will have fried chicken and side dishes available this evening from 6:00 – 7:00 pm in the Winnebago Public School cafeteria ,or until food runs out, for you to pick up and take home.
Our thoughts go out to the families in mourning.
