Tomorrow's JH/HS cross country meet at Hartington has been moved up to 9am due to heat.
Today, all activities will be inside.
Due to extreme heat, all outdoor activities will be moved indoors today. This includes recess and athletic practices. Practice will still take place, but may be shortened.
Due to extreme heat, all outside activities will practice inside the school. We will still have practices. They could run shorter.
Picture day at WPS will be Monday, Sept. 11. We will start with kindergarteners at 8:15am and move up through each grade.
All orders will be done online through the Digital Solutions website. We won't be using order forms this year.
Picture retakes will take place on Wednesday November 1st.

It is school policy that drinks and food not be delivered to the school during instructional time. Student will be allowed to have these delivered or gathered during their scheduled lunch times. If drinks or food is brought to the school for a student, it will be left at the front desk until the students scheduled lunch time. So please communicate with your student about their lunch schedule. Attached is a picture of the student/parent handbook. This picture will be located on the School Facebook and website. Reminder:
Any student in grades 7-12 that plan to go out for athletics needs to have an updated sport's physical completed before being able to start practicing. Hs volleyball and cross country start practice on August 7th. Hs football will start practice on August 14th. Jh fall athletics begin the first day of school on August 17th.

HS Volleyball Conditioning starts today 4-6. Monday-Wednesday this week and Monday-Friday next week.
HS football conditioning will start July 31st from 4-6. This will go Monday-Friday.
Students can condition without a physical but cannot practice until the school has a current physical on file after the last day of the last school year. This needs to be done before August 7th.
Only two weeks left of Jh/hs summer workouts! We have seen some, but not all. Would be a good start to the seasons to see everyone the next two weeks.
