Tonight, September 14, there will be a parent and families meeting for our Dual Language Students. This will take place in Classroom #138 at 3:45PM.

We will be discussing updates for the year and next years cohort! So, this meeting will also be open to current Kindergarten families that are interested in having their child in the Dual Language cohort next year!

Attention JH Football Families and players! 🏈

There will be no practice, today, Monday, September 14. This is so fans can travel to Pender to cheer on our JV Football team.

Additionally, we are still needing jersey payment from those who ordered a new jersey with their names on it. If you have any questions please reach out to Coach Bear. Thanks!

Our Dual Language Classrooms are hosting a Parent Meeting on Monday, September 14!

This will take place from 3:45 to 4:45PM in Classroom #138 (south-side of the building).

This meeting is open to current Dual Language students and any kindergarten families who are interested in having their child join next years cohort!

Attention Winnebago Families!

Our 5th, 7th. 9th, and 11th graders will be bringing home letters containing information about suicide and what to do if they are worried about themselves or a friend.

These letters will also include a consent form. Please only sign this form if you do not want your child to participate in the Lifeline's Prevention Program , which provides education about suicide prevention.

Reminder to WPS Families!

Tonight at 5:00PM the WPS Mental Health Team will be presenting the Lifelines Suicide Prevention Program. This presentation will take place in the Winnebago Theater.

While this event is adults only, free childcare will be provided during the presentation.

By attending, you help us ensure we are building a knowledgeable and competent community to aid us in this important work.💙

📢Attention WPS Families!

As the new school year is in full swing, we are asking our WPS families to refrain from sending peanuts, or peanut based items, including peanut butter, to school. We have several students that are highly allergic. We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us maintain a peanut-free campus.

Tomorrow is picture day! 📸 Make sure your child is here and on time tomorrow to make sure they get their picture taken! If they are not at school tomorrow, no worries! Picture makeup day next Wednesday, September 9. Your child will bring home a proof with a link for you to order their photos online!

Attention, families of students in grades 7-12!

A letter regarding the importance of arriving at school on time will be sent home with your child. We are asking that you please sign the letter's envelope and return it with your child. Please keep the contents at home for your reference. Thank you for your support! 💙

Attention Junior High Girls Volleyball Parents, tomorrow's games will only be A and B team. If your child is NOT on either they will be staying in school to finish out the day. If you have any questions reach out to coach Freese or Cherish.

📣Attention Winnebago Fans! 📣 The game time for this Thursday, September 3, has been moved to 7:00pm. Come experience our first home game of the season, on our new field, and under the lights! 🏈🏟️🤩 We heard that the theme is camo! Reminder to seventh through ninth grade students!

JAG will be hosting their meet and greet tonight, beginning at 6:30pm in the WPS cafeteria! Pizza will be served. 🍕

In case you missed it, on Friday WPS staff collaborated with police and the WIN to put out a PSA on traffic safety around our school. When dropping off or picking up your student, make sure you follow these safety rules and laws: 🐌Slow down when students are around. 📵Stay off your phone. Pay attention to the road and be prepared for any sudden stops or changes in traffic. 🛑 Come to a complete stop when a school bus arm is out, flashing red lights, when our cross walk patrol lights are on, or when they are in the middle of the crosswalk directing students across. Our top priority is to get our students here safely and on time, so with your help we can make that happen!
